Recent polls in Pennsylvania show that Bill Russell, Jack Murtha’s virtually unknown opponent now leads the outspoken Congessman by as much as 6%.
Several reasons for the downturn are reported in today’s The Huffington Post: “Jack Murtha really stepped in it recently with his comments on Pennsylvanians and race. The right-wingers are making the most of it. Now even the swiftboaters are entering the fray, as Veterans for Freedom pile on. It’s a full court conservative press to take Murtha down.” The story goes on to say that money and resources are “pouring in” to support candidate (Russell) “who just moved there to run against Murtha.”
Observers are also saying that Barack Obama’s threat to “bankrupt the coal industry” is hurting Murtha’s chances with his fellow Pennsylvanians.

The anti-Obama ad below was paid for by citizen Frank Sheetz. EYE ON OBAMA thinks it is outrageous. It is a deliberate attempt to turn other citizens against President-elect Obama’s Socialist plans for America. We call on Obama operatives to begin an investigation into Mr. Sheetz’s background, as they so successfully did with “Joe the Plumber.” The American people have a right to know everything about Frank Sheetz, or anyone else who has the gall to criticize our glorious leader.
Fortunately, attack ads like this will be soon be outlawed by a Democrat Congress lead by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. We applaud their leadership and urge Comrade Obama to sign the legislation as soon as it arrives on his desk.

Harry Reid, Senate Majority Leader, added, “It’s what the American people want. Otherwise, they would not have elected a Democrat Congress and President together. Now, they can look forward to programs that will offer more welfare (to offset higher taxes), a money-saving plan to surrender in Iraq, pressure on small businesses to provide higher wages and more benefits to their employees, and cow-towing to our so-called enemies to prevent them from committing acts of aggression on American soil. It truly is the beginning a new era in American government.

OBAMA’S RHETORIC DEEMED AS STRONG AS MARX’S
After Comrade Barack Obama was overheard telling leftist supporters that the people in small towns in Pennsylvania were ”bitter, so they cling to their guns and religion,” he was harshly criticized. We here at EYE ON OBAMA believe such criticism was grossly unfair. His remark was, after all, philosophically akin to that of another great Marxist leader Karl Marx. The often-quoted statement, while not mentioning guns, does refer to religion. Marx said, “Religion is the opium of the people.”
Lending credence to Comrade Obama’s remark is the news that Christian speaker and broadcaster D. James Kennedy, founder of the Coral Ridge Ministries, has announced a day of prayer for November 3.
Meanwhile, James Dobson’s Focus on the Family Action has released a letter that laments that people “simply did not realize Obama’s far-left agenda would take away many of our freedoms as a nation, perhaps permanently,” pointing to an Obama-appointed, liberal majority Supreme Court that could remain unchanged for 30 years or more.
EYE ON OBAMA supports everything our esteemed Comrade says and does and we must respond to these Christians about their bitter smear campaign with this editorial comment: GET OVER IT PEOPLE! WE NOW LIVE IN A NEW ERA OF LEFTIST LIBERALISM AND LIFE ISN’T GOING TO GET ANY BETTER FOR PEOPLE LIKE YOU, ANY TIME SOON.

As his awe inspriring campaign approaches its day of glory, the editor of EYE ON OBAMA wishes to join the countless other media outlets that have proclaimed the election of Barack Hussein Obama as President of these United (at least for now) States.
Comrade Obama is expected to address a gathering of editors and reporters in the former Rose Garden of the White House, recently re-constructed as a basketball court. EYE ON OBAMA has learned our esteemed comrade will offer his thanks to the admiring gaggle of “newspeople” for their efforts in downplaying his Socialist “spread the wealth” scheme, as well as his plans to add a “fairness” amendment to the Constitution. It is expected that he will offer a special ”shout-out” to MSNBC for their extraordinary “show-the-love” campaign. Comrade Obama says, “it’s time to show the love back” to the failing cable network by giving them special consideration at all White House events. “Provided, of course,” he says, “that they continue to eschew criticism or tough questioning of his office or anyone in his Cabinet.
In another section of his address, Comrade Obama admits that he was against any mention of The First Socialist President or his ties to Socialist philosophy during the campaign, but now that he’s elected he says, “No problem. The fact of the matter is since Bill Clinton has already usurped the title of ‘The First Black President,’ I needed a cool title for my own self. Know ‘m sayin?”
Comrade Joe Biden, newly elected Vice President and Plagiarizer-in-Chief has already commented on the media’s “brown-nosing” of the new Administration. In oratory typical of Biden, he said, “You guys have helped Barack and me prove that old Abe Lincoln was wrong. You can fool most of the people. So, we’re going to need your help again when we try to figure out how many of the citizens we can get away with taxing up the old kazoo.”
